Most of my adult life, was spent as a Wine & Spirits merchant on the SouthCoast of Massachusetts.
Between 1989 - 2010, CARDOZA'S Wine & Spirits Hosted, Produced and/or Sponsored numerous Wine Festivals, Brew Fests, Holiday Giving Events, Pop-Concerts on the Bay, Winemaker Dinners, Celebrity Dinners, Comedy Shows and Fishing Tournaments.
During that time I never thought of myself as a philanthropist. I simply believed that if my businesses could bring people together, then it should support the communities that made those gatherings possible.
Over the years, wine became a way to preserve historic places, support children's organizations, strengthen the arts, protect open space, produce beautiful music, grow vegetables for those in need; to raise funds for causes that mattered.
I discovered that wine has an incredible ability to connect people—and when people connect, good things happen.
My simple philosophy:
Be Kind and Have Fun. It's That Simple.
Postcards was born from that idea.
Every collection celebrates a place worth remembering. Every bottle tells a story. And every partnership is designed to help preserve, protect, or strengthen the communities that inspire these wines.
Whether it's Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Napa Valley, or the next place we call home, my hope is that every bottle creates one more conversation, one more shared meal, one more memory, and one more opportunity to give something back.
